The care label supplied with a product is the source of truth because fibres, dyes, and construction can vary. Follow that label whenever it differs from general advice.
Use a gentle wash routine
Turn printed socks inside out before washing to reduce surface friction. Group similar colours together and choose a gentle cycle with cool water unless the care label says otherwise.
Avoid harsh bleach on coloured designs. A mild detergent and a full rinse are usually the safer choice for preserving a print.
Dry without excess heat
Air drying away from strong direct sunlight is a gentle option. If the care label permits machine drying, use its recommended setting and avoid unnecessary high heat.
